I thought this would be a walk in the park - but it's a big, dark and
lonely park at 3am when you're hungry, cold, wet and lost.... if you want
a _real_ challenge, and want to learn about your real self (as well as how
to survive, evade, locate, shoot, navigate....) then give it a try.
If it's a challenge you're after, you'll find it.... if it doesn't find
you first! If you go down to the woods with them, you might just
hear a ghost walking..... - David W. |

Advanced Escape & Evasion: I started going 5 years ago and go
back for more punishment year-after-year. I have been shown by
some of the most experienced people in this country how to navigate, live
and survive outdoors, escape and evade capture, shoot, hunt,
feed myself, and how to swear at 4 in the morning when I am cold, wet
and have had no sleep. But I will be back next year for more because
whoever is on the course, we will always argue, get stressed, shout, cry, but
when all is through we will always end up being the closest of closest friends.
What an experience - try it and you will be hooked and have the best
memories ever. Put that smile back on your face that you
had as a kid. - Brad R. London |

It starts on Friday night … hiking half way up
a mountain to your base camp. But if you're ready for bed by now you
should've stayed at home! You are now in a hostile environment, which
you need to secure before you can rest. You stow your gear and under
expert leadership you're off on a night patrol over a foreign land,
straining to see the man in front, watching where you're walking and
looking out for the enemy.
The next day begins with whatever delights you
have in your ration pack and then picks up where the night left off.
Whether it's organizing a patrol, searching a cavern system, setting up an
OP, crossing a river, engaging the enemy, abseiling down a mine shaft or
evading capture in the dead of night...you'll do it all today. It's
a wild roller coaster of an adventure that jumps from one awesome
experience to another, each fuelled by the constant knowledge that
somewhere in this foreign land the enemy is waiting...for you!
If you think you're up to the challenge and can
survive on the run, learning new skills by the minute...don't just sit
there, get out and live it! - Paul M. Birmingham |
