Snowdonia Survival School Ltd. was formed in 1997 with the aim of teaching Outdoor Pursuits but away from the ubiquitous dedicated centre-type establishment.

With over 20 years’ experience of both military and civilian instruction, we aim to teach people self-sufficiency in the outdoors along with some perhaps more `alternative skills’.

Survival Courses have become `de rigueur’ for people seeking something different over the last 10 years but we believe that our unique mix of mountaineering, survival and military-type courses not only sets us apart from other suppliers, but makes us leaders in the field.

All our staff are ex-forces, some drawn from British Special Forces and others from the Special Forces of our former enemies. Each course is unique and the large number of staff and skills we have to draw upon ensures that all of them are instructive, informative and exciting.
