OVERSEAS COURSES: Russian Pilots Survival Course

This course isn’t based on the Russian Airforce’s Course,  it is the Russian Pilots course !

Considered one of the best courses in the World, a Pilots' survival course consists of survival in many terrains- water, desert, forest and mountain.

First you will travel to Moscow where you will have a day and night sightseeing with an English-speaking guide before being transferred to Anapa on the Black Sea coast. Anapa is the home of the Russian Pilots' Survival Training Centre.

Once there, you will sit alongside Russian Pilots who are undergoing the training for real.  The first few days will be in the classroom with lectures and practical demonstrations before you will be asked to try two or three days surviving in different conditions.

There should be a water rescue when you are dropped from a helicopter and you have to inflate your life raft and climb in before bobbing around in the sea for a few hours.

The Forest and Mountain settings are completely different and are perhaps more demanding because they also include Escape & Evasion where you will be pursued by Russian solders who’s job it will be to capture you for real.

There should be enough time after your course to enjoy some of Anapa's beaches before returning to Moscow where you will have another day and night of sightseeing before returning to the UK.

OVERSEAS COURSES: Fast Jet Experience

Thanks to our contacts inside the former USSR, we are able to offer the chance to fly inside some of the world’s leading fighters, bombers or combat helicopters.

For many years Russia have lead the world with their fighting hardware technology and performance. The Mig 29 for instance is considered to be the most agile of modern fighters while the SU27 can handle the strains of + and - 10 or 11 G.

You will fly to Russia with an English speaking guide where you will have a day in Moscow for sightseeing before moving on to the Centre for Pilot Training on the outskirts of the city. Once there, you will be given a brief on each aircraft before you choose which one you would like to take a flight in.

Before your flight however, you must undergo a few days’ training and fitness testing, including testing on a centrifuge, to ensure that you are healthy enough to undergo the strains of the flight.

Only when you have passed all of the tests will you be fitted with a pressure suit before taking your flight. Most combat aircraft flights last about half an hour where a top pilot will put you and the plane through its paces.

Once back on the ground you will be awarded with a certificate stating which aircraft you flew and what G and speed you achieved. After leaving the camp that has been home for the last few days, you will travel back to Moscow with your guide for a last night in the city before flying back to the UK the next day.

OVERSEAS COURSES: Jungle Survival Course

Make no mistake… the jungle can be a dangerous place although throughout the world, each continental tropical area varies massively.

While we may think that anywhere that rains most days is jungle, the differences between the dirty jungles of South America and the cleaner Far Eastern are very noticeable.

We offer  a guiding service for expeditions to these areas and offer expert help in dealing with the problems of just existing in a jungle environment.

There are more dangers, diseases and insects lying in wait for the traveler here than in the rest of the world  but we can advise you and take care of your expedition.

We have experienced jungle  staff who have trained from Belize to Borneo, Malaya to Brazil. With their help we can prepare you for what is to come and be there for you when things happen.
